Bởi toàn bộ lính tinh nhuệ của Nga tại vùng này đã được điều động tới Zaporizhzhia, khu vực Robotyne, lực lượng của Nga tại Kherson rất mỏng. Nhưng phía Ukraina cũng sẽ phải đối mặt với các khó khăn về tiếp tế cho một cuộc chiến lâu dài.
